At the video conference on the Western Balkans, organized by the Ministry of Federal and European Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia on September 3, 2020, Mr. Saša Dinić, Minister Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, gave an introductory speech. Mr. Dinić spoke about the main topics of the conference - the legal system and the labor market in the Republic of Serbia - from the aspects of reforms within the negotiation process of the Republic of Serbia on the EU membership. He informed about the current situation and presented data on reforms and harmonization of regulations in the judiciary and in the field of labor market.

The conference was opened and moderated by the State Secretary at the Ministry, Dr. Mark Speich, and was attended by Ms. Dragana Bubulj, Project Manager of Faire Mobilität, within the German Trade Union Confederation, from Stuttgart, Ms. Ewa Ellereit, Head of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Skopje, Mr. Stefan Trunk, Prosecutor and the Head of the Department for Economic Crime and Legal Aid from Duisburg and Mr. Dušan Reljić, Head of the Representative Office of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs.
