Ambassador Dr. Snežana Janković paid a visit to the Inselgalerie in Berlin (January 13), the gallery that since mid-December exhibits the bust of Mileva Marić-Einstein, Serbian mathematician and physician and the first wife of Albert Einstein.

The bust is a work of art created by sculptor artist Anna Franziska Schwarzbach; the gallery also hosts the medal with the image of Mileva Marić-Einstein, authored by Marica Rizzato Naressi.

In the follow-up conversation with the artists and the gallery representatives, ambassador Janković stressed the importance of Mileva Marić-Einstein for Serbia, while the artists talked about their motives and the retrospective of their work dedicated to this unique personality. Various ways of promoting the life and work of Mileva Marić-Einstein in Serbia and Germany in the coming period were also touched upon.
