Ambassador Dr. Snezana Janković had a video conference with Ms. Maike Bielfeldt, Director General of the Hannover Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Presenting the results in the current economic cooperation between Serbia and Germany, the ambassador pointed out that over 400 German companies operate in Serbia and employ over 75,000 people, and that there are more and more German companies that open their own research and development centers in Serbia. The ambassador extended an invitation to the Director General of the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce Ms. Maike Bielfeldt to visit Serbia leading the business delegation and suggested intensifying contacts and cooperation between the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Hannover Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Ms Bielfeldt thanked for the invitation and pointed out that it would be very interesting for representatives of business circles in Lower Saxony and Hannover to visit Serbia. She also expressed hope that companies from Serbia will participate in the prestigious World Fair of Industrial Technologies in Hannover, which is being held on May 31 and June 1, 2022.
