Ambassador Dr. Snezana Jankovic participated in a video conference with Dr. Anna Lührmann, Minister of State for Europe and Climate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, together with the representatives of the Western Balkans region.

The talks focused on Germany's cooperation with the region, as well as the progress of candidate countries for membership in the European Union.

Ambassador Janković pointed out very good bilateral relations between Serbia and Germany and thanked Germany for its continuous support in the European integration process of Serbia, expressing hope that the new German government will bring additional energy and accelerate the dynamics of our accession to the European Union.

Minister Lührmann underlined the importance of further progress in the region in implementing reforms in the area of ​​rule of law, fight against corruption and organized crime. She pointed out the importance and possibilities of cooperation within the Green Agenda, emphasizing that cooperation with the Western Balkans is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
