On March 23rd, H.E. Dr. Snežana Janković, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Federal Republic of Germany, had a meeting with Ms. Lucia Puttrich, Minister of Federal and European Affairs of Hesse.
Ambassador Janković has informed Minister Puttrich about the process of Serbia's European integration, stressing the need to intensify the EU accession process as well as Serbia's commitment to implementing reforms.
By emphasizing Hesse’s long-term excellent cooperation and partnership with Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Ambassador Janković conveyed Serbia's interest in further strengthening economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the field of culture and education, reminding that Novi Sad is a European Capital of Culture for 2022.
Minister Puttrich stressed the support of the Government of Hesse for the European integration of Serbia, saying that Hesse is ready to provide Serbia with concrete assistance in the reform process.
She also conveyed her intention to visit Serbia and to discuss joint activities and cooperation with partners in Vojvodina.
