On April 26, Dr. Snežana Janković Serbian Ambassador in Germany met with Mr. Sven Giegold, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of the Federal Republic of Germany.

At the meeting, Ambassador Janković stressed the high level of economic relations between Serbia and Germany, which is our most important foreign trade partner and one of the largest investors, whose companies contribute to the economic development and growth of Serbian exports. She also emphasized our interest in the development of cooperation in the field of energy and climate action.

State Secretary Giegold emphasized Germany's interest in further developing economic cooperation with Serbia, pointing out the importance of continuing reforms in order for our country to further progress in European integration and represent an even more favorable and attractive business environment for German companies. He also expressed Germany's readiness to help Serbia in the field of renewable and environmentally friendly energy sources, as well as in the joint commitment to climate action.
