The Serbian Embassy in Berlin has organized the "Evening of Serbian Culture" on April 27, where guests were representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other German institutions, as well as academic and business circles.

During the evening, significant part of the presentation was dedicated to the promotion of Novi Sad, the European Capital of Culture. Guests from Germany, Finland, The United States, Israel, Poland, Kazakhstan, Myanmar and other countries had the opportunity to get acquainted with folklore, tourist offer and the rich cultural heritage of Serbia.

While Addressing the audience, Serbian Ambassador to Germany Snezana Jankovic stressed the long and rich history of bilateral relations between Serbia and Germany, emphasizing that at the end of the year we will mark 140 years since the signing of the Trade and Consular Convention and the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The guests of the Embassy had the opportunity to enjoy folk songs and dances performed by members of the KUD "Zlatni opanak" from Berlin. During the evening, short films of the Tourist Organization of Serbia were shown, as well as a promotional film of Novi Sad as the European Capital of Culture.
