During her visit to Dusseldorf and Dortmund, Ambassador Snezana Jankovic had a meeting with Gabriel Feltz, chief conductor of the Belgrade Philharmonic and the Dortmund Philharmonic, on May 17, 2022. The main topic of the meeting was the joint project of the two Philharmonics, the Beethoven Marathon, designed to mark the 250th anniversary of the great composer's birth.

This project was supposed to be realized in June 2020, but it was postponed due to the pandemic. The project envisages the performance of nine Beethoven symphonies during one day, 19^th of June 2022 in Dortmund and 26^th of June 2022 in Novi Sad, in cooperation with philharmonic orchestras from Belgrade and Dortmund, as well as the choir of the Slovak Philharmonic.

Ambassador Janković expressed her gratitude to Gabriel Feltz for his efforts to bring this extremely important and demanding project to fruition. She emphasized the importance of the project for the overall bilateral relations, as well as for the presentation of the culture of the Republic of Serbia and the City of Novi Sad as the European Capital of Culture for 2022 in Germany.
