The exhibition "Vuk and the Germans", organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Berlin, was opened on July 1, 2022 in the Bavarian State Library in Munich.

The exhibition was created by “Vuk's endowment” in Belgrade under the initiative of Ambassador Dr. Snežana Janković and it serves as a testimony about Vuk Stefanović Karadžić's cooperation with famous Germans such as Goethe, Schiller, the Brothers Grimm and others, as well as about the time he spent in Germany almost 200 years ago.

The exhibition takes place live (announcement at: https://www.bsb-muenchen.de/veranstaltungen-und-ausstellungen/ausstellungen/kabinettpraesentationen/ ), as well as in digital format, and will last until December 30, 2022.

This is the first showing of the exhibition "Vuk and the Germans," which, in addition to the Bavarian State Library, will also be hosted at other universities and cultural centers throughout Germany.
